Helen Wallace is Executive & Artistic Director of Kings Place, London. She has also held roles as Creative Consultant and Programme Director there.

Formerly editor of BBC Music Magazine, she began her career as a journalist, broadcaster and critic; her books include Spirit of the Orchestra and Boosey & Hawkes, the publishing story. She was awarded ABO Concert Hall Manager of the Year in 2019, and her series on women composers, Venus Unwrapped, won an RPS Award 2020.

She is a board member of Manchester Collective and sits on the Sirens Panel for the Ambache Trust.
